Pala 5 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy and sell traditional clothing such as güipiles, fajas (woven belts) and cortes (woven skirts).

Pala 5 Group's story

Manuela is a 20-year-old mother in a domestic partnership. She and her husband have a lovely family including two children between the ages of 1 and 4. They live in a community within the village of Pala.

She makes a living from growing bananas and has done so for close to four years. To increase her income, she also makes traditional clothing. Manuela is a woman of great aspirations in life so, in order to strengthen her traditional clothing business and increase her sales, she is requesting a loan with which to buy traditional clothing products such as güipiles, fajas (women belts) and cortes (women skirts.)

Her biggest dream in life is to improve her family's standard of living.
