A loan helped to buy shoes wholesale.

Illampu I Group's story

The communal bank, Illampu I, is part of the Agencia Copacabana and is made up of eight members. They are all friends and neighbours from their area. It is led by a board of directors where Nancy is the President.

Nancy is in a common-law relationship and has a child. Currently, she has a business selling shoes, she learned this business a long time ago. The loan that she is taking out now will be to increase capital by buying shoes wholesale, which she will obtain from wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. Afterwards, she will sell them from her store. This way of working allows her to generate resources to support her family financially.

Her dreams are to make her business grow. Nancy asks you to trust in her communal bank again.

Note: Rebeca is not in the photo as, after the payment, she had to quickly go to her store. Madelin is also with her 8-months-old baby who appears in the photo.
