Maegaret's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, cooking oil, sugar, yeast, and baking ingredients for her bakery business.

Maegaret's story

Maegaret is a 33-year-old woman who is married with five children. They live in a community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Islands.

She runs a small bakery business, making and selling buns and bread in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for three years.

Maegaret has requested a loan to pay for additional flour, cooking oil, sugar, yeast, and baking ingredients to increase her stocks and assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019 to gain access to financial services for her business.
