Hezel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy canned foods, rice, noodles and mixed goods for her general store.

Hezel's story

Hezel is 56 years old and a widow with five children; they live in a rural community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small general store selling rice, noodles, canned foods and biscuits in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Hezel has requested a loan to pay for additional canned foods, rice, noodles and mixed goods to increase her stock and assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019 to gain access to financial services for her business.
