Sarah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy an additional dairy cow and meet the overwhelming demand of milk in her area.

Sarah's story

Sarah (41 years old) lives in a small, isolated community in the Eldoret area of Kenya. Despite her difficult living situation and general lack of access to the outside world, she is a hardworking farmer.

She began farming a few years ago. Today she has achieved great milestones in terms of diversifying by growing different crops and introducing farm animals such as dairy cows.

Sarah has managed to take care of her family with the income she earns from selling milk. She has always wanted to buy another dairy cow, but the lack of capital has prevented her from doing so. Sarah is now seeking a loan to buy an additional dairy cow, so that she can improve her milk vending business. The cow she intends to buy is a breed that produces rich creamy milk. As a result of obtaining this cow, she will produce more milk, which will translate into more income.

Demand for milk in the Eldoret area is high, but the supply is low. With this loan, Sarah is going to have more milk and will comfortably meet the demand. Her vision is to own even more dairy cows.
