Serah is a 31-year-old woman who is married with two children and they live in a community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small business selling betel nuts and cigarettes in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for one year.

Serah has requested a loan to pay for additional betel nuts, cigarettes and boxes of matches to assist her with her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and grow her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019 and this is her first loan.
