A loan helped to pay for her aunt's medical expenses.

Leticia's story

The young woman, 23, is single. She used to live with her aunt, who died a few days ago.

The young woman works in agriculture in Mizque, work she learned from her aunt, who raised her. The young woman is from a humble low-income family, because her parents abandoned her. She had only the help of her aunt, who supported her unconditionally.

The young woman's work is very demanding because she has to spend most of her days in the field for her crop production and do difficult tasks in full sun. Even with all this sacrifice she doesn't have enough money to cover her family expenses, because her aunt left two orphaned daughters when she died, whom now the young woman is responsible for.

She has a very high bill now from her aunt's stay and medicine in the hospital, because she suffered from a serious illness. That's why she was hospitalized for many days. Unfortunately she wasn't able to recover, which is why she left the young woman with a very high balance from the hospital and medicine. She's responsible for all the expenses because of her gratefulness to her aunt for having taken care of her from childhood.

This is why she's requesting help, so she can cover the aforementioned expenses, which are very high because the hospital requires that the expenses be paid. The young woman has debts with third parties because of her aunt's medical expenses.
