Rosemary's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy another quality breed of dairy cow that will help satisfy the demand for milk in her area, making profits to support her family.

Rosemary's story

Meet Rosemary, a mother who is very happy to share her profile in this Kiva platform. She is full of hopes and expectations for tremendous progress in her life.

Rosemary lives with her husband and and two children in Thika, a town where the main economic activities include agricultural processing, particularly in horticulture and pineapple. Here, she practices dairy and crop farming.

Rosemary detests living in poverty and has a plan to improve her standard of living. For this reason, she is seeking a loan to purchase another quality breed of dairy cow that will help in producing milk and manure to be used on her farm. Milk from the cow will be sold to the local market and this will mean improved cash flow.

Through improved cash flow, profits will be high and she can comfortably take care of her family and pay tuition fees for her two children.

Through your loan, Rosemary will be empowered economically. She plans to employ other people on her dairy farm to work for her and therefore empower them too. Please be inspired to support a farmer today!
