Josephine's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more red oil, fufu, plantains, cassava and oranges to sell.

Josephine's story

This is 42-year-old Josephine. She is a hardworking businesswoman who is single with five children. All of her children are currently attending school while living at home. She attended school up to tenth grade.

She runs a business which she sells red oil, fufu, plantains, cassava and oranges. She has been selling for the past 15 years and has had no problem with her business.

She asked for a loan with BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. She is seeking the loan to buy more red oil, fufu, plantains, cassava and oranges to sell and add to her business in order to ensure she meets her customers' demands.

Her love for her business continues to grow every day. She enjoys interacting with her customers because it enables her to grow her customer base. Through her profits, she will be able to pay back the loan and improve her standard of living.

In the future, she would like to become a big businesswoman, buy land, and continue sending her children to school. She says thanks for your support.
