A loan helped to buy cattle and feed to increase her income from raising cattle.

Gulnara's story

Gulnara is 53 years old, married and has four children. Gulnara has a college degree and works in a school. She masters agricultural techniques and knows how to invest funds purposefully. As an extra source of income for her family, Gulnara has been raising livestock since 1992. Thanks to Gulnara's hard work, at present she has four cows, ten sheep and 2.0 ha (5 acres) of arable land, where she grows clover.

In order to develop her farm further, Gulnara has reached out to the Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 150,000 KGS to buy cattle and feed, in order to increase her revenue from raising cattle. Gulnara plans to invest the revenues from her loan in further development of her farm as well as to improve her family's quality of life.
