Fololeni's story

Meet Fololeni. She is 43 years old, married, and has one child. Her family lives in their own home on the island of 'Eua.

Fololeni runs a weaving business, which she has operated for nine years. She is a member of a group of weaving women in her village. Together, they practice weaving almost everyday. They weave different types and sizes of weaving products such as taovala dresses, mats, and fihu.

Fololeni sells her products at the local market, from her home, and also overseas. She advertises her products through the internet to reach more customers.

Fololeni is a very trustworthy SPBD client. She is committed to her business and is very honest in running it. Through the financial help of SPBD, she is applying for an SME loan in order to buy lots of pandanus to use in her weaving.

In the near future, she is planning to use her business income to buy a new vehicle for her family.
