Sasha's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped us open our first Donut Shop, purchase equipment and inventory, hire and train personnel and pay for permits.
Sasha and Daniel We are Sasha Rullan and Daniel Salinas and we have been married for 10 years. We were born and raised in Mayaguez and currently live in San Juan. We both studied Law and share the dream of creating a business together. After hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in 2017, we decided it was the ideal time to reinvent ourselves with the goal of staying here in the Island, without having to move to another state or country. Since then, we started taking business courses to educate ourselves on how to create and grow a successful business while contributing to the economic development of Puerto Rico. After a lot of brainstorming and research, we came up with the idea to establish a business that brings people together and makes them happy, and that is: selling Desserts! Born from our love for candies and pastries, in June 2019 “Mr. Bluk” came to life. With Daniel’s experience as a professional stuntman in the film industry, a profession that requires quick decision-making dominance and creativity, and Sasha’s experience as a lawyer and director in a governmental office, with the abilities of research, customer service, management and leadership, we created the perfect team that is needed to continue developing Mr. Bluk to the next level. Although we have no formal education as bakers, we have self-educated and experimented enough to create a brand that satisfies our customers with our unique flavors and the quality of our products and service. Our first customer, in June 2019, was a close friend and since then the word about Mr. Bluk has spread, our clientele has grown and we have delivered hundreds of donuts to our happy customers.
