María Magdalena's story

María studied up to the third grade. She is married to a builder, and her two children work for a textile company.

María has been making and selling pupusas (a type of tortilla) since she was 10, having learned form her sister. Her business is on the property where she lives. She sells every day from 4-8 and her daughter-in-law helps her. María also butchers pigs on the weekend.

María will use this loan to buy a stove for cooking and selling her pupusas. She dreams of increasing sales and improving her quality of life.
