01_Clmaïmouna Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabrics and cosmetics for resale.

01_Clmaïmouna Group's story

These four brave women are part of the banc villageois, which has been in existence since December 2014; they live in the same neighbourhood and have good neighbourly and friendly relations. They have repaid several loans on time.

Ms. Yaye Aïssatou, 32, is the representative on the left of the photo and with her hand raised. She is a married woman and mother of three children including a daughter; they are all in school.

Yaye Aïssatou is active in the fabrics and cosmetics trade. She buys wholesale from the big merchants and retails in her home neighborhood, going door to door. She has 4 years of experience.

With this new loan she will buy fabrics (wax, veil, silk, bazin) for nearly 50 pieces and various beauty products that she intends to resell and make good profits on. She is doing well because she knows most of her clients. The profits will be used to strengthen her savings and reinvest in her business.
