01_Pdj Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase chicks to raise poultry.

01_Pdj Group's story

This group, created in November, 2018 consists of nine brave and dynamic women who are parents, neighbors, and friends. They live in the same neighborhood and run a poultry-raising business. They successfully reimbursed their first loan.

Mrs. Coumba, 61-years-old, is the manager to the right of the photo raising her hand. She is a widow and the mother of six children, of which two are boys. They are all educated.

She raises poultry and re-stocks from suppliers at the market in the city. Her business is at home where she has her hen house. She has several years of good experience in this sector.

She is going to purchase 200 chicks, bags of feed (early life, growth, and mature), and pay for vaccines. She plans to sell the chickens in 45 days. Her products sell well because of good quality.

Her profits serve to strengthen her business in increasing her savings, and supporting her children with food and in their schooling.
