A loan helped to buy a buffalo.

Nua Ngam 16 Group's story

Mrs. Bua is 43 years old and married. She lives with her husband and two sons (ages 16 and 10) in a small village. She works very hard at agricultural production to provide for her children and support the family. She cultivates rice, corn, and cassava, and breeds buffalo, chickens, musk ducks, and ducks.

Because of the instability of income gained from cultivation and animal husbandry, Mrs. Bua continuously increases production by taking out loans from the Anh Chi Em Program. This is the twelfth time she has received a loan from the program, and she will use it to buy a buffalo to raise and sell.

Mrs. Bua believes that with the financial and non-financial support of Anh Chi Em's staff, the buffalo will grow fast and healthily, and this investment will bring a good income for her family.

Mrs. Bua dreams of abundant life for her family and a bright future for her children.
