Nido Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy an ACE 1 energy system in order to have access to solar and biomass power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and cheaper.

Nido Group's story

Mamankoe is a 43-year-old woman who lives in a multi-bedroom house with four other family members, including three children. She relies on poultry farming for an income, which is meager. Mamankoe’s energy expenses primarily go to electricity and gas, which cost up to 260 LSL a month. She also spends as much as an hour a day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like charging her phone.

Mamankoe is part of the Nido group, and the members each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel, as well as give them access to solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered.
