Wennemi's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for poplin, zippers, and various other sewing supplies and to save money for taking better care of her family.

Wennemi's story

Wennemi is the mother of an 8-year-old child, who is in school. A seamstress, she has been sewing clothing at a local market for eight years.

She is on her 3rd loan cycle at the microfinance institution YIKRI and has paid back her 1st KIVA loan without a problem. She is requesting a new loan to pay for some poplin, zippers, and various other supplies for sewing clothing for her customers.

Her plans include using the loan proceeds for reinvesting in her business and saving money to support her family better. So, she is still thankful to YIKRI and its partners for supporting unbanked entrepreneurs. With YIKRI loan, she is taking good care of family.
