but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy glasses, reusable containers, reusable bottles, perfumes, and cosmetics.

Maryuri Verónica's story

The city of Portoviejo, known as the city of Reales Tamarindos, was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016. It is located in the valley of the Portoviejo river. The city is rich in the production of greens, vegetables, and tropical fruits for local consumption.
Maryuri is 40 years old, married, and has 2 children from this relationship who are 18 and 11 years old and in school. Her husband sells seafood and clothes. They live in her parents' house.
Maryuri works in the cafeteria of a school, and her brother helps with sales. In her free time she sells Yanbal products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes, and women's accessories) and Tupperware (plastic goods for the home and for personal use). She sells for credit and collects payments weekly.
She will use this new loan to buy glasses, reusable containers, reusable bottles, perfumes, and cosmetics.
Her dream is to have her own home.
