Minati's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to make more sarees in order to expand her handloom business.

Minati's story

Minati is a 48-year-old woman from a small village named Charmajdia, near Nabadwip in Nadia district, West Bengal. She has a family of four and a monthly household income of INR 7,500. She is engaged in a handloom business of her own wherein she collects raw threads from the market and makes sarees on her handloom machine.

She now wishes to expand her business to increase her income. She, therefore, seeks a loan of INR 40,000 from Grameen Shakti, Milaap's field partner. The loan is expected to help her earn more revenue from her handloom business.

They thank you for your kind support towards developing their handloom business.
