Sutapa's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase raw threads from the market to make saris to sell, using her hand-loom machine.

Sutapa's story

Sutapa, aged 29, is from the small village of Natungram, Shantipur, in the Nadia district of West Bengal. She has four members in her family and a monthly household income of INR 9,300. Sutapa is engaged in her own hand-loom business. She wants to expand her business to increase her household income and savings.

Sutapa has applied for a loan of INR 30,000 from Grameen Shakti, one of Milaap's field partners. She will use the loan to buy raw threads from the market so she can make more saris on her hand-loom machine.

She and her family thank you for your kind support towards expanding her hand-loom business.
