Makhsuda's story

Makhsuda, age 59, is unmarried. She has a high-school education. She knows agricultural techniques and is able to invest money for its intended purpose. She has been raising livestock as her family's main source of income since 2012. Thanks to Makhsuda's tireless work, her farm now has 6 cows, 6 sheep and 0.52 hectares of land on which she grows cotton.
In order to further develop her farm, Makhsuda has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of livestock, with the aim of increasing her revenue from livestock herding. Makhsuda plans to invest revenue from the loan in the further development of her farm and to improve her family's standard of living.
