Victoria's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase hybrid seeds and fertilizer to improve maize harvests.

Victoria's Group's story

Pictured above is Victoria, often described as an extremely experienced farmer. She is 56 years old and has five children. As a group leader, she is representing her group of 11 farmers in Wanging'ombe District, Tanzania.

Victoria is returning this season to work with One Acre Fund, as this means she is able to have access to quality training and acquire new farming methods, which is why she decided to join in the first place. Victoria says that she is happy to have made that decision because, since she first joined in 2017, she has had a healthier life due to better nutrition, which has improved her day-to-day life significantly. Victoria will use the profits from this season to repair her home.

The group will use this loan to purchase seeds and fertilizer to plant a total of 14 acres.
