Manjulata's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase plaster, door, tiles etc in order to construct a toilet.

Manjulata's story

Manjulata is a 52-year-old woman from a small village in Balasore district, Odisha. She is a housewife. She has a household of 6 members and a monthly household income of INR 8,500.

She and her family have no toilet in their house. The entire family has to go to a secluded field to defecate. With the rising flood levels, this is not only unhygienic but also unsafe for her and her children. She plans to purchase plaster, door, tiles etc to build a toilet. However her family's monthly income is barely enough to meet their needs. Therefore she has applied for a loan of INR 25,000 from Gram Utthan, one of Milaap's field partners.

She and her family will be grateful for the support.
