Bendu's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy more palm oil, bags of rice, coconuts, soap and other items to sell.
Bendu is a hardworking business woman who sells palm oil, bags of rice, coconuts, soap and other items. For the past 10 years, she has been running her business. She learned how to sell from her mother and her husband gave her money to start the business. She has had no problem with her business.
Bendu requested this loan from BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner, to invest in her business by buying more palm oil, bags of rice, coconuts, soap and other items to sell. She says that the extra income from this loan will help improve her standard of living. She likes her business because it makes her an independent woman.
In the future, she wants to continue her children’s education. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
