Celso's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy feed and vitamins for his pigs so they will grow faster.

Celso's story

Celso is a 55-year-old piggery owner from Jaen, Nueva Ecija. He is happily married to Milagros, a sari-sari (variety) store owner. They are blessed with six children, four of whom are still pursuing their studies. For about 12 years, he has run a piggery business as the source of their daily living.

Celso has been a good-paying client in Alalay sa Kaunlaran, Inc. (ASKI) for about six years. His previous loan helped him to provide good vitamins for the growth of his pigs.

He is requesting again a loan amounting to PHP 50,000 under the agricultural loan program of ASKI. His loan will be used to buy feed and vitamins for his pigs so they will grow faster. Celso wants to expand his piggery business in the near future. He believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, he will become a successful businessman.
