Hadizatu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase ice cream in larger quantities to meet her customer's demands.
Hadizatu is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her extended family in the Bawku West district in Ghana. Hadizatu runs own business selling ice cream. Hadizatu is requesting a Kiva loan to buy ice cream in a larger quantity to increase her profit margin. She plans to use the profits she earns to support her family’s basic needs. Hadizatu will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering two and half hours per week as a CAMFED Peer Educator, leading life skills sessions for students in local schools on topics such as rights and choices, choosing a career path and active citizenship.
