Zenabou's story

Zenabou is the mother of three children of which two go to school. She is a saleswoman and has been selling cake and sandwiches in front of a school in a neighborhood of the capital for the last 12 years. She is on her fifth loan cycle with the micro-finance institution YIKRI. She pays back her loans well and she she reimbursed her first KIVA loan without any difficulty. She solicits a new loan to purchase 12 bags of flour, cans of oil, and other goods to satisfy the demand of her customers. She wishes to use these profits to reinvest in her business and to save to improve the living conditions of her family.
Lastly, she thanks YIKRI and its partners for the support given to non-bankable entrepreneurs. Thanks to the loans from YIKRI, she manages to save to improve the living conditions of her family.
