Cecelia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more palm nuts, fufu and charcoal to sell.

Cecelia's story

Cecelia is 42 years old. She is a single mother with 2 children, aged 5 and 11. Both of her children are schooling and live at home.

Cecelia's business sells palm nuts, fufu, and charcoal. By doing this, she generates the income she needs to support her children. She learned this trade from her mother and started to sell with her savings. She has been in this business for 15 years now and sells 6 days a week. She likes her business because it gives her more money daily.

To excel in business, Cecelia applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner. This financing will be used to buy more palm nuts, fufu, and charcoal to sell to her good clients.

In the future, Cecelia wants to improve her business and gives her children a good education.

She is highly grateful for the financial support BRAC and Kiva have rendered.
