Mwangaza Bora Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy used clothes and adjust them with her own patterns, before selling them on to build upon her initial capital.

Mwangaza Bora Group's story

Ms. Consolata is a client of Hekima IMF and chairs the village group "Mwangaza Bora". She is married, 45 years old and the mother of 9 children - 7 of whom are in school, and 2 of whom are yet to start school. Her partner is a teacher.

She is a seamstress, and a seller of clothes: she started this business 13 years ago with start-up funds received from her husband.

Later, she involved the Hekima program to support her business, during which she gradually developed and evolved it.

With this new loan, she will buy some used clothes to readjust with her sewing patterns and then sell on to build upon her initial capital.

The main business challenge she faces is theft-related given that she operates from her own home.

She would like all her children to go to school and to expand her business by opening a sewing workshop.

Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for supporting business owners without easy access to finance.
