A loan helped to buy flour, cooking oil, yeast and sugar for her bakery business.

Eliizabeth's story

Eliizabeth is a 37-year-old woman who is a single mother of one child and they live in a rural community outside Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small bakery business making and selling buns, scones and ring cakes in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for two years.

Eliizabeth has requested a loan to pay for additional flour, cooking oil, yeast and sugar to assist her with her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's financial needs and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019.
