Grace's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to process and package palm oil in high quantities to meet customer demand.

Grace's story

Grace is a 24-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her mother in the Agona East district in Ghana. Grace runs her own business selling groundnuts and palm oil.

With her previous Kiva loan, Grace was able to purchase ground nut and palm oil on a larger scale to satisfy her customers demand. She used the profit she earned to reinvest in the business.

Grace is requesting another loan to purchase groundnut and palm oil in bulk, as there is an increase in demand. She plans to use the profit she earns reinvest in the business.

Grace will repay the "social interest" on her second loan by volunteering two-and-half-hours per week as a CAMFED Business Mentor, using her expertise to mentor and support fellow CAMA borrowers in her community to complete repayment of their loans.

As a Loan Coordinator she has already successfully paid off at least one loan herself, so she understands the opportunities and challenges and is uniquely positioned to help other CAMA members succeed.
