Merri's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to purchase high-quality feed for the pigs, thereby increase the productivity levels and her income so that she can support her daughter to get a higher education.
She lives with her husband, 2 children (ages 14 and 19), and pensioner father-in-law in Koghb village. Merri's daughter currently studies at a local university. The area where they live is considered to be a conflict zone and this brings many difficulties in raising their farm. On their inspiring farm, Merri has cultivated grapes, wheat, potatoes, walnut, and cornel for 11 years already. Thanks to the sales of agro-products, the family sustains their living.
They are constantly making enhancements to develop their farm even more.
With the previous loan provided through the generous support of the Kiva community, Merri diversified their farm with pigs. She has applied for this loan to purchase high-quality feed for them. This will surely help to increase the productivity levels, and thereby their income. Merri hopes that this enhancement will increase their agri-business income so that she can support her daughter with her studies at the university.
