A loan helped to pay for her house renovation.

Sakhorn's story

Sakhorn, 51, is married and has three children. Two of her children work as garment workers in her community. Sakhorn and her husband have engaged in farming for more then ten years, collecting and harvesting rice from a rice farm and selling it to the local market. She and her husband can earn approximately only $9 per day, but Sakhorn is very happy because she is assisted greatly by her children and her husband in the farming business. Sakhorn works very hard to improve her family's living standard.

Due to the shortage of finance, Sakhorn has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 1,000 to pay for her house renovation. Currently, her roofs leaks, and it's very vulnerable to heavy rains. She hopes that this loan will will help her to renovate her house before the rainy season gets bad.

Sakhorn sends thanks to all lenders for their support of her family.
