Evelyn Lucia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a variety of agrochemical products.

Evelyn Lucia's story

Rocafuerte Canton is well known nationally and internationally for its traditional handcrafted sweets made with recipes passed down through the generations. They make decorative objects of tagua nut; produce clothing, embroidery, and clay pots; and grow rice.

Evelyn, 29, is in a common-law relationship. She has three children, ages 2 and 1 and a six-month-old baby. She's an accountant. Her husband sells agricultural inputs.

Evelyn and her husband still have their store for selling agrochemical products. They sell fertilizer, insecticide, poultry and pig feed, and medicines and chemicals used in agriculture and raising animals. She works every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. They are warmly welcomed in the area where they have their established clientele. She used to sell clothing.

With this new loan she's going to buy a variety of agrochemical products.

Her dream is for her family to be very healthy and her business to continue to grow.
