Ana Rosa's story

Ana Rosa Zambrano is a microbusiness woman from Cartagena. She has a business making cakes to order for events. She also has provided lodging for more than 3 years. Her story began out of the need to get her children ahead and give them an education. That is why she immigrated to the neighboring country of Venezuela, where she lived for many years while she obtained resources to educate her children. There she learned everything related to pastries and cooking. Later, due to the crisis, she decided to return, because her family still needs her support. She started to make cakes for neighbors and friends for their birthdays. Over time, she has become known and now she has a great clientele that recommends her. In the future, she would like to expand her business and make other types of food.

At this time, she is applying for a Kiva loan, the first loan she has taken out through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo. This investment will allow Ana Rosa to continue consolidating her businesses by receiving an injection of capital, because her main goal is to expand the types of products she sells to obtain more profit. Support her in her loan, it will be a success.
