Mana's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy 100 lengths of 'pagne' cloth, 30 boxes of shoes, and 25 boxes of flipflop sandals.

Mana's story

Mana is a 46-year-old married woman with four children to support. She does commerce in 'pagnes' [the colorful cloth of western Africa] and various qualities of shoes. Twice a month, she orders her merchandise at the market and is seeking a loan to add to her own capital. Then she could increase her orders for ‘pagne’ cloth, closed-toed shoes, and flipflop sandals to satisfy her customers. She intends to lift herself, once and for all, out of poverty and to be self-sufficient, so as to take care of house and home properly.
