Rebecca's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy good-quality seeds and fertilizer, which will help increase soil fertility and productivity on her farm.

Rebecca's story

Rebecca (67-year-old mom of four) is a determined woman who has only one thought in her mind: to prosper. She is a farmer from the Kapsowar area, in the Rift Valley Region, Kenya. She is responsible for all the operations on her farm, which she does perfectly. On her farm, she rears dairy cows, grows crops, and carries out daily household chores such as cooking, collecting water, and caring for children.

She has been doing agriculture for many years now. She makes money selling produce from her farm, including milk and crops. She enjoys plowing her farm and watering her plants. Crop diseases pose a big challenge for her as well as poor productivity.

Initially, she had borrowed a loan to buy farming inputs, which she successfully paid back. Rebecca is seeking a loan to buy good-quality seeds and fertilizer, which will help increase soil fertility and productivity on her farm. Increased productivity will allow her to improve her quality of life and her living standard. Through training from Juhudi Kilimo, she has learned about the culture of saving, and she plans to use the increased income to improve her farming.

This loan will go a long way in changing the lives of Rebecca and her family members. Rebecca dreams of building a modern house where her family can have an amazing quality of life.
