Teresa's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy farm inputs, such as high-quality seeds and fertilizers, to improve productivity and increase her income to support her children.

Teresa's story

Teresa loves her children unconditionally. She is the true definition of a hard worker and an ever-smiling, happy mother. Most people in Kenya have underestimated the profits that can be made in agriculture, but Teresa has always believed that it is her path to prosperity. Teresa produces milk, crops, and eggs for commercial purposes, as opposed to many rural farmers who produce only for subsistence. These commercial activities place her in a better position to engage in other agricultural businesses, which she does.

Teresa adores and cherishes her children. She is determined to give them a healthy lifestyle, including paying for their education. Her farm has not been producing an optimal harvest, because of the lack of fertilizer and good seeds and the presence of pests and diseases. That is why she is seeking a loan of KES 70,000 to buy farm inputs.

Through the loan, Teresa will be on her way to a bumper harvest. This will translate into more profits and cash. Through the use of good seeds and fertilizer, Teresa will reap more, which will assure her of comfortably taking care of her family and repaying the loan. Teresa’s plan is to be able to increase her farming and to be able to save more money, so that she can buy more land for farming.

Please support this smallholder farmer, who needs you today to be able to get ahead and pursue her dreams.
