Antonia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a biodigester and use biogas, a renewable energy, for milk pasteurization.

Antonia's story

Antonia's parents bought the farm she is working on a long time ago. They were farmers all their life and taught Antonia and her brothers to look after and improve the field crops, because agriculture is what brings the world alive.

Antonia knows manure is polluting the planet because of inadequate waste management. That is why she wants to invest in a Sistema.bio biodigester that will allow her to transform the manure from eight cows into renewable clean energy (biogas) and an organic fertilizer called biol.

Antonia will use biogas during the pasteurization process. She will also apply the organic fertilizer to the forage for her animals instead of chemical fertilizers, thereby taking care of the soil, the animals and her production.

This loan represents 60% of the price of the biodigester. The remaining part is paid directly by Antonia .
