Ana Milena's story

Ana Milena is a 27-year-old micro entrepreneur who lives in the city of Cartagena with her children and husband.

She started her business idea 1 year ago, because it was important to work and have her own business. This entrepreneur sells merchandise and varieties and has obtained excellent results and profits. She started with only a little capital, selling household items in a religious community where she attends. Today her business has grown considerably. Her main customers are neighbors, friends, family and referrals who pass by the sector and buy the merchandise daily. Ana is a role model and a source of employment.

She wants to grow and increase the inventory of products that she sells by buying wholesale merchandise to be more competitive. Currently she is applying to a loan with Kiva, the first financing she makes with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation. She will investe these resources in buying merchandise such as sheets, covers beds, curtains, tablecloths, beauty items and others.

Ana plans to expand her business plan in the future by increasing her product inventory in order to obtain higher yields and improve her family's quality of life. Support her credit, it will be a success.
