Madalena's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy two chicken plucking machines to better clean chickens to sell more in order to increase her family's income.

Madalena's story

Madalena is a 40-year-old Mozambican woman. She is married and she lives with her husband and their four lovely children.

She is a humble and very hardworking woman. She is passionate about agriculture, mainly poultry, and she has worked in this area since she was a child. She is also passionate about caring for people; this is why she became a nurse in her community.

Madalena works in poultry with the support of her husband and children. She supplies chicken to a large number of clients in her community. Thanks to this activity, she is also able to provide job opportunities to many young people in her community.

Madalena cares about the quality of her production as well as the satisfaction of her clients. For this reason, she needs to improve the way she processes chicken to sell in order to supply very clean chicken.

This is why Madalena is requesting a Kiva loan to buy two chicken plucking machines to better clean chickens to sell more in order to increase her family's income.
