Dinah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy another productive and high-breed dairy cow and help a single mum to meet the demand for milk in her village.
On the farm, she has dairy cows and a small garden. Filled with determination to better her family's conditions, while not being deterred by her marital and financial status, Dinah has decided to expand her existing farm. To increase milk production, she could either buy more cows or replace the existing cows with more productive breeds.
The latter makes more economic sense. Crossbreeds and Friesian are more productive, and can survive in the same environment as the traditional breeds, but they come at a price. Dinah is seeking a loan through Kiva to purchase a productive dairy cow that will bring her more income. She will use the additional income to pay for her children's education and to meet family expenses.
Her future plan is to keep growing her income-generating asset base. Dinah really hopes for lenders' contributions and is looking forward to a warm response.
