Akenese's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy taro roots (seedling), banana tube (seedling), chemicals, a bag back sprayer, and a chainsaw.

Akenese's story

Akenese is a 28-year-old married woman with 3 children. She runs a business selling taro and banana in her community to earn a living. She has 4 years of experience with this business, and she works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and banana.

Akenese thought she would earn more income if she planted more banana and taro, but in order to do this, she needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedling), banana tube (seedling), chemicals, a bag back sprayer, and a chainsaw, which will help her to run her business. For transportation, she has even delivered her products to the flea market by using the bus.

She comes from a family where no-one works to earn a living, and only her business supports her family's needs. Her dream is that one day her family will have a great standard of living. She became a member of SPBD in 2016 to seek finance for her business, because she realized that, with your support and help, she and her family can develop through financing.
