Elaine's story

Elaine is a 23 year old mother with 1 child. She runs a small business of selling banana and taro chips in her village and at the market to earn a living. She has been doing this for more than 5 years.

Elaine has requested a loan to buy a sack of taro, bananas, vegetable oil, a fry pan, and wooden spoons to help her run the business. She hopes to use her profit to build a chips store in the near future and provide for her family needs.

Elaine became a member of SPBD Samoa in 2016.
