Mele's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy taro root seedlings, banana tube seedlings, chemicals, a bag back sprayer, and a chainsaw.

Mele's story

Mele is a 29-year-old married woman with three children. She runs a business selling taro and bananas in her community to earn a living. She has four years of experience with this business. Mele works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and bananas.

Mele thinks she will earn more income if she plants more bananas and taro, but in order to do this, she needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a bag back sprayer, and a chainsaw to help her run the business. She delivers her products to the market by using the bus for transportation. Mele comes from a family in which no one works to earn a living, so only her business covers her family's needs. Her dream is that one day her family will have a great standard of living.

Mele became a member of SPBD in 2016, seeking finance for her business. She realizes that your support will be a big help for her and her family.
