Justine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for the ingredients for making and selling foods at her stall.

Justine's story

Justine, aged 47, lives in committed relationship and has nine children, of whom five are still in her care. She is active and looks after her children’s well-being. She dreams of a bright future for each of them and strives to provide them with an education.

Justine sells vegetables, as well as owning a food stall in order to boost her income. She also works as housekeeper. Her sales stall is still a precarious thing, but she strives to keep her food hygienic. She takes out loan from Vahatra to have capital for her businesses. She used the previous loan to sell vegetables.

The current loan is necessary for her to buy the ingredients needed for the dishes she make and sells at her food stall. She has loyal customers she would like to satisfy and offers rice dishes served with sauce and fritters. She is going to put her profits toward savings to finance her children’s education.
