Nigarakhon's story

Nigarakhon, 35, is a single mother of two. She has a high school education, knows agricultural techniques and is good at investing money. She has made a living from livestock breeding since 2010. Through her hard work, she owns 3 cows, 15 sheep and 0.26-ha plot of irrigated land where she grows tomatoes.

Planning to expand her business, Nigarakhon is requesting a loan of 150,000 KGS from Bai Tushum Bank. She would like to buy some land as well as some fodder to be able to increase her income from livestock breeding.

Nigarakhon plans to reinvest the profits in her farm and save up for the construction of a new house.
