Elizabeth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy stocks of groceries for sale.

Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth is a married woman with 4 children. She is 48 years old and lives in a community close to the city of Koforidua. Two of her children are currently going to school.

Elizabeth has been running her own grocery shop for the past five years, selling various items to those in the community. The challenge is there is quite a lot of competition, and her inventory is running very low. She is having trouble attracting customers because of her low inventory and her shelves looking empty.

Elizabeth is taking her first loan from Advans, and is hopeful that Kiva lenders will fund her loan. She is looking forward to using her profits to improve the family's nutrition, to pay the children’s school fees, and to keep her store running smoothly.

She is grateful in advance to all her Kiva sponsors!
