Annah's story

Kiva community!

Meet Annah, a mother of four wonderful children. She is very hardworking, honest, and humble. She hails from Kenyenya, a town that hosts a number of elite athletes in Kenya. Annah is a proud mother of lovely children, whom she really loves and adores. She will do anything in her power to give them the best. Annah has been farming for the past few years and has provided her children with all the basic needs that they require.

Annah practices mixed farming, meaning crop and animal farming. Through these two activities, she has been able to support her family. However, because she still faces challenges, she wants to diversify and begin poultry farming to help make ends meet. Annah is seeking a loan to buy poultry.

She believes that through the increased income, she will be able to comfortably take care of her family and assure her children of a secure future. Annah has experienced difficulties in acquiring funds to start her poultry business, but she now feels relieved knowing that Juhudi Kilimo is partnering with Kiva to support hardworking women, helping them to be economically empowered, and to be able to realize their dreams. She is really grateful in advance for your help and contribution.
